Rockin' the Black Dog 2008

Re-capping Rockin’ the Black Dog 2008

In 2008, the Rockin' the Black Dog featured a stellar line-up of Hunter talent including The Seabellies, The Retro Rockets, Vaudeville, Amy Vee & The Virtues, Daniel March, Rubix Cuba and Mark Wells, along with visiting artists The Boat People and Jenny Morris.

The event was a great success, with many people from the community eager to pick up information on the day to increase their understanding and awareness of mental health issues. The day also raised over $30,000 in sponsorships and donations and helped to establish networks for future community partnerships between the mental health sector and local businesses... not to mention that it was a fantastic day of music!

Thanks to all the sponsors, supporters, organisers and volunteers and anyone else who participated in
Rockin' the Black Dog 2008.
