About Lauren

Lauren has been with the Hunter Institute of Mental Health since March 2017. She has a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours), majoring in Health Promotion and Family, Society and Health from Deakin University. Lauren also has a Master of Applied Science (research). 

Lauren currently holds the position of Research Officer within the Mental Health and Research team. In her role as Research Officer, she is working on the qualitative evaluation of The Way Back Service as well as on a research project exploring mental health and support needs of small businesses in NSW.

Lauren has a particular passion for qualitative research and has held a number of research positions across various public health interest areas. Lauren has contributed to four publications and developed a strong interest in mental health promotion after working in workplace mental health research prior to working at the Hunter Institute of Mental Health.
