Victoria is a Senior Project Officer for the Mental Health and Research team. She is a registered psychologist and has worked in the mental health and suicide prevention sectors for the past decade.
Since joining the Hunter Institute of Mental Health in 2003, Victoria has worked on national programs such as the Mindframe National Media Initiative and several state-based programs such as Conversations Matter and the Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategies 2016-2020. This has involved consultation with sector stakeholders and high risk community groups, resource development, education and training, and strategic level document writing.
Victoria is currently working on a locally-based suicide prevention project, Guiding Their Way Back Support Groups as part of The Way Back Project (NSW), which aims to provide support for families and carers of people who have attempted suicide.
